Presonus Eris 4.5 are pretty good. I've them and I'm not disappointed.

Well here is an example of what I mean

I was experimenting with typical drum and bass drum patters and bpm's mixed with hip hop influences and some string instruments because I like them, but I have no idea where to take the track next. This isn't just a problem for this track though it happens with almost all my tracks.

Please excuse the lack of mixing as I am just working on composition atm

and sorry for hurting ur ears with this
Wrong link or private maybe ?

Not to appear butthurt or anything, but OP was about how to get a good macbook for an affordable price, not a pc vs mac discussion.
I know, i was just sayin'  ::)

Rules & Announcements / Re: about verification criteria
« on: January 08, 2016, 10:30:18 pm »
Here's what I think. There should be a section where an Artist can make a post if he thinks he is underrated and surely needs exposure by verification. While applying he can post links to his soundcloud or any other medium where we can listen his tracks. After a verification request is posted. All the verified members check his potential out and if they think he really has the potential ,they can contact Mat_Zo directly to get that artist verified.I know as of know there are not many verified artists around but Mat and Xilent can do the job. This can be get quite complicated if few or more verified members agree/disagree with the decision. In that case, the majority wins.Really Simple and Peer to Peer approach.Additionally we can keep a criteria to create a post in verification thread like "One should have successfully produced atleast 5 original songs" to apply .
I'll copy the discussion I had, with Mat_Zo about that.

R&A Graveyard / Re: A Thread For Posting Our Mixes ?
« on: January 08, 2016, 10:27:10 pm »
Think that would go under Finished Tracks
Yeah, but nope. I don't think it's a usefull thread.

Because as Mat_Zo said, it's a producer's forum. Not for DJs. But let see if they agree or not.

I really like my Presonus gear i started out with a firebox 2 input interface and it did me good starting out for a few years then I upgraded to the fire studio project and it is GREAT!
Get a cheap little preamp too, it always helps.
I have presonus AudioBox USB myself too. It's pretty neat and enough for someone who get started.

So at first, I though this was a question. Then I looked better and understand this was a tip.

Although, I would recommend making music on a Windows PC. It will cost less and be more efficient. Building a PC from scratch can also be a very good way to have what you actually want and be able to replace some pieces when they got less efficient or if you want to add more power.

Try mixing as many genres in a track as you can. Then you'll see what you actually want. I've made a 10min track that combines Dubstep, Drum&Bass, Midtempo, House and more. It sounded like shit but it worked. The overall ideas were cool. I've 4-5 tracks out of this one single track.

Although, you need to try everything to be able to know what you want.

Copyright will happened. You'll pay taxes for this IF you sell it. If you're giving it out for free, then they'll just take it down.
