First off, love your sounds! How did you make that first saw siren sound in the beginning? I would love to learn how you did that. You're mid's are very big, but that makes the low end feel a bit smaller, the kicks great but maybe put a bit of saturation on the sub or the low synths. You definitely have the psy style down, the claps that come in scared me a bit, maybe turn down the amplitude on there or increase the stereo on it? Other than that, solid track, ver curious to hear the finished version! Keep it up mate

Your logo is beautiful by the way, had to add that quick.

Very lush pad work, makes me think of synthwave which I love. The strings coming in at 0:45 is perfection...those samples are really well processed with good amounts of reverb. I think as the track goes on though (I'm at 1:28 currently), the piano begins to be drowned out. I would definitely bring the volume up on that sound as the track progresses. I think some bass work would do well too, even if it slowly came into the picture.

That gated synth swell that starts around 2:35 is really well done, and adds good variation to the mix. I think it could've been even higher in the mix though.

The mid sections of this mix are really great, but I'm left wanting more in the high and low registers. Still an incredibly lush and chill track, I really like it!!

Awesome feedback, I've listened to it again and can agree with you on most suggestions. I want to keep the piano low though- it's significance was in the beginning and that's just where I needed it (: Adding a bit more to the low end is interesting, I think I'll try and add a gritty bass to get a slightly mysterious feel. Also, did you think it was a bit too repetitive? I think a short bridge with help with the build up so I may also add something like that as well.

Love it as always! Your music is so epic and encompassing. Honestly from an outsider perspective, i'd make that second drop giant, melodic, and filled with pumping pads. I actually was expecting this when i listened to the build. I imagined the kick hits, you hear that little pluck as you do now (except drowning in reverb as it is during the break) and then the pads come. So the pads wouldn't actually hit until the second kick during the drop (1/4bar of silence except for those plucks and kick) and then explosion. Kind of as ilan bluestone does often times with his drops...it sort of goes against the listeners expectations.

Overall the music and the mix is incredible. I think it could be louder. This is something I have struggled to get better at but it is of course all about using your headroom wisely, getting everything to around -2dB  and then adding a heavy maximizer/limiter to squash it all together.

Thanks bud! I like that idea, I'll try it out. The problem I think is figuring out a good 8-measure chord progression that fits with this song. I want it to be different that the build's chord progression so I'll fiddle around with it. And yeah, the loudness and heaviness I'll work on after I get this drop down (: Stay tuned!

Your hi hats are a bit too loud and seem to drown out the "clicky" part of the bass. Also if you put a compressor on your bass pluck synth with an attack at around 0.85 and a quick release, it'll create a stronger punch to it.
