I like off beat stuff to, but there's just too much chaos in this one. You want a balance of chaos and repetition so it's different, but still listenable and followable.

I don't normally like dark/filthy/nasty music. But this is a banger the crowd is never ready for. ho-lee-fuck. Wow. I'm impressed. It captures so many elements at once it gives me shivers and this is coming from a melody whore.

Composition is perfect. Styling is extremely unique. EXTREMELY unique. I personally think the "emptiness" you're talking about helps add in a new element into the song and should be left as is. I'd like to know how you got that ambience so well in between drops.

Now on the mixing section, It sounds like your lead drop sounds and high hats are trying to run on the same frequencies. A tip I have for that is use a fabfilter pro-q2 to eq the high hats to the left or right side (your choice) and then on those same frequencies but an eq on your lead tone and have it go to the equal strength on the opposite side. That way you hear both sounds going on top of eachother fluidly!

In the drop section it also sounds like your kick and sub are riding on the same frequencies as well which causes the sub to lose its power when the kick hits (maybe that's how you want it idk, to each their own!)

how do you go about making the wavey chords in the intro of soupandreas's life goes on? i messed around with different ADSR envelopes, cutoff/resonance modulation and tried to apply an lfo to the cutoff but i wasn't getting a close enough end result.

Sounds to me like Sylenth1. Using an LFO on the cutoff and then syncing the built-in phaser with it as well!

Been waiting for Pt. 2 for ages and it's everything I never expected, which is a great thing! Evolution is so key for any artist and I'm happy to see him grow. Always been a huge fan of Haywyre. Pianists jive together man. My one complaint is the length. :/ Feels like an extended ep vs a full length album. I want him to do a proper album next. Jazz musicians ftw.
