HELP! How do I create this awesome trance groove?
I've spent hours trying to reproduce a cool sample based groove like this:

Does anyone know how they do this? Is there some trick I am missing? To me it sounds like extremely well placed samples in time... Also, are they making these samples or is there a library of cool trance samples? I've heard this in other songs as well.
I took my shot, but my sample library is thin, so I threw some synths together and worked through as much as my brain could handle (holy cow this drop is really hard to follow). Hopefully this will at least give you an idea of where to place your samples. Tbh, it's 130 bpm glitch house or some crazy subgenre name that will stick for like a year and die out like all the others. (Haven't heard the word "Riddim" in a while. Hmm.) So as long as you get into the proper mindset, and understand what you're going for, I think you can pull it off. I also believe that when you hear similar sounds in songs, it's well known synth patches or methods of achieving a sound (because I'm 90% sure I could pick one or two of these sounds out of a Shadient song in some different iteration).
But yeah. Let me know if this helps.

P.S. I hear some reese-esque sounds in there. So that's definitely a sound you could work on (Damn, Daniel. Back at it again with the different iterations).
