Right now my song has around 60, but I'm not even close to done. I want to keep my track constantly changing so the listener doesn't get bored, and the only way to do that is by adding new elements at certain points. It could be something as small as a click or as big as a new melody. I usually add in a bunch of random things that I think will sound cool and then cut some of the bad stuff out until I get what I want. Just remember that you shouldn't be adding anything to your song if it doesn't serve a purpose. For every single element in your track, you should be able to explain to yourself why you put it in there.

I heard that you should only send one song out to one label at a time because if you send it to multiple labels and get accepted by more than 1, you're going to look unprofessional and have to disappoint some people.

So I've posted this in some other communities, asked some people, and no one seemed to know the issue so I am hoping someone here knows what's up.
Right after I built my PC and hooked up my 2i2 and KRKs, they started to make some static sounds. Now the sound is a lot louder and it's making it impossible to produce with them. I figure out that it is linked to my CPU usage, whenever I put my computer into power saving mode, the static goes away. I messaged KRK and they said that it's probably not a problem with the monitors since there is no static when they're unplugged, but I think they just want to get rid of me... I've tried using different cables, outlets, and usb ports for my interface and nothing seems to work...

1. Don't try to be original + Don't be afraid to steal good ideas from your favorite tracks (Good artists copy, while Great artists Steal)
