Second break and third drop complete in this one :D I'm thinking that this could be the final version of this... If you guys have any feedback I'd love to hear it and I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a lot guys!

EDIT: https://soundcloud.com/strocksu/superstar-final/s-bTujI Final touches/final version

I think the xylophone sounding jaunt at :55 is as little too loud, and I think that drop chords are also a little bit too quiet (but I'm not sure if its a volume problem or a presence problem) but otherwise the song has a good flow and its very uplifting! Overall its a good track, I would just touch up the mix a little but other than that I don't see any big problems... Good job :)

A lead and a bass do occupy to different parts of a songs spectrum but the important thing to note is where it occupies the most... Sub bass (808 bass/sine wave bass) occupies from about 30 to 200 hz while supersaws and things like that occupy pretty much from 200 hz and up (as far as your mix is concerned) But with that being said, if you put 2 sub basses on top of each other, then it sounds like shit and its the same thing if you have too much going on all throughout your songs mix. If you have too much in the highest end (17500 hz+) then the song will have this clippy/white noise-y sound to it and if your song has a lot going on from 30-200 hz then your mix gets really messy sounding (rumbling from overlapping bass and quieter bass from being buried under everything else) and I know its a lot to understand right now and you'll get better at it as you do it more (TRUST ME I'VE BEEN WHERE YOU ARE) just give it time and practice the right way to do these things now so you don't have to worry so much about the mix and you can worry more about the music :D Hope this helps!

Okay so before I get to the mix, this song is REALLY GOOD so far... I'd say that the part from :18-:24 should probably change cause it throws the vibe off in my opinion but the second part of the drop is excellent it reminds me a lot of WRLD :P But with the mastering it's really really quiet but that's an easy fix (if you want help with that just let me know) and the mix has some weird clipping static jaunt going on in there that doesn't necessarily ruin the song but it definitely takes away from it. But with that being said once those issues are fixed it'll be a fantastic song you just need to make sure that your leads are EQ'd so the bass comes through clearly and make sure that your high end is EQ'd properly so that static/clipping mess isnt there.

It sounds pretty good it definitely has some marshmello vibes to it XD Other than that I think it'll be a good song when you have it done.

I know that I uploaded the first version of this a couple of days ago but I actually got the song to a more complete state but I still think that more could be done with it. Any feedback you guys have for me would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance :D

I'm not sure if it was your choice but I think that the vocals are too loud but other than that its a great song! I'm thinking it'll be another good one when you finish it up, good work

It sounds really really good I actually like it a lot! I think that maybe the lead should have a little more presence but other than that it sounds fine

I seriously love the vibe on this one its a really uplifting track and the flow is flawless. Honestly though I feel really inspired to flip that into a future bass/future trap kinda song I think that'd be pretty interesting BUT with that being said, good job as always :D

Thanks for your feedback guys I was kinda doubting the quality of this one for a while I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm thinking now that I should just take that riser before drop 3 out because I tried to change it (and it might be because I haven't learned sylenth almost at all) and now it sounds worse XD but I feel a lot better about this for sure now thanks again.

You're very welcome :D and if you wouldn't mind (because I've actually gotten 0 feedback on this site so far) could you listen to my song that I put out the other day? (https://theproducersforum.com/index.php?topic=4756.0) If you could that'd be great... Thanks a lot!

Martin I think this could make it onto Armada Music if you submitted it to them... It honestly sounds like something that would come off the label and it sounds pretty professional to me. Good job on this one keep it up!
