Good sidechaining! You show good craftsmanship.
However, do you think you could try to make the lead play something else while he's singing? Unison is nice, but it's a bit boring.
I'd go with an arpeggio, or a chord progression.
I'm sorry if I sound dumb. Eargasm does that to people.
