...sample magic has some really good packs though. the chill wave pack is ace
Sample Magic is #1 for me. The quality of packs is superior, last time I purchased Future Electronica, it contains everything a person need to start with future bass - one shots, loops, presets, demo songs deconstructed (even with printscreened effect chains on each channel! Didn't see this anywhere else) + if it's too expensive for you, you can reduce the price on their website by selecting only elements you want (for example, only drums, or FX etc.), their Rise and Fall pack is another treasure - I'm one of the laziest people on planet when it comes to creating my own risers - these guys came with the pack that is tempo-labeled and automatically stretches to fit bpm of the project, also with variations of the lenght - 1 bar, 2 bars, 4 bars fx... I highly recommend them

Lex Luger & 808 Mafia drum kits are standard, then get free Just Blaze drumkit and you are ready to go. No matter how much you want to be unique with using house pack for making trap music, it won't work much... you can create something with same tempo and rhythm patterns as trap, but it won't be trap music because it will lack sounds that are signature for the genre and are specially contained in these genre-specific packs - you won't find 808s in trance pack, trap snares in DnB samples, sirens in Soul pack etc. Why to limit yourself using samples that doesn't fit the genre? I believe even with already milion times used packs/samples you can create something signature and unique if you give it the right processing/edit/idea - pick obvious "hey" chant, stretch it, filter it, or play it as an instrument in sampler and suddenly you've created something less obvious!

If you still want to use packs fro other genres, I'd start with dubstep packs - people often mix dubstep with trap, it fits well, you have whole genre built around it: "hybrid trap"
For nice percussion and random sounds I recommend deadmau5 Xfer pack. I also recommend getting some KRNE pack, he makes really cool sounds. then there is Wallmart drums by Cymatics (for free), that has interesting sounds in it too. Sometimes I even use KSHMR pack for soem trap stuff.

My personal experience with forcing myself into creating music is not good. When I push myself when tired or just generally uninspired, I create very very shitty music. To keep progressing I'm keeping a habit at least once per day open FL studio, choose one of in progress projects and try to add/change something in it. If I don't feel like producing today, I at least watch some youtube sound design tutorials or even if I don't feel like that I work on my side graphic design project and do some new album covers and visuals for my producer project. Key is to get a habit of everyday production and then just extend the time you produce each day.

P.S. vítám dalšího čecha! :D

I always see people spamming comment sections and I never really thought it could be a smooth way of getting followers, but what you just said sort of makes sense if done well enough. I just don't wanna be "that guy" lol
key to reaching listeners is to be one/think like one. I know this can work because sometimes even I read these comments and sometimes I visit their channels and eventually I find really cool song. But yea I completely ignore or report "that guy"

firstly, I'm not anywhere near sending demos, but here are few tips I catched when I was thinking and learning about promoting:
When?
- you should send demos to channels and labels only when you are 100% satisfied with your sound and mix. Make your first impression count
- talking about building a fanbase, It does no harm to start collect followers on SC and Facebook even before your first song upload. It's the numbers of followers that count when you send your profile links to labels.
How?
- if you aren't established, sending promo to Trapcity, Suicide Sheep etc. is a waste of time for both sides. These channels are very picky and most of the time you need to know the guys that uploads songs there. I'd suggest 2 things: First - do some good research around the youtube and find medium/small sized channels that uploads their good music in genre you make. Secondly, try to make contact with owners of these channels, and not by sending them promo in the first message. You can show them how big fan of them you are, bring them some value from you... make friends with them
- you can reach some following even through cliché stuff like youtube comments, if stick to ORIGINALITY of the comment, not typical "I'm 12 years old bedroom producer, check my channel" but comment songs relevant to your style with something like "can you imagine this song with sax intro and in 110 BPM? Give my channel a try!"...

my two eurocents here.

That's really f*cked up, the sample companies that I trust are Black Octopus for thequality and Sample Magic for the quality and for being kind guys, when I send some e-mails asking some questions for them.
Yes I like Sample Magic so much, they're really nice and their pack sounds really good..

I'm still watching these guys with their "6-digits revenue in last 6 months", it all just looks sad and funny to me - their new pack is even more expensive (127$) and is all based on wavetables created from animal sounds(that's why the high price I guess?), which doesn't sound like animals at all (I'm not saying they sound bad), you can do same good sounds with any other good source as a wavetable.

Also it seems like they're buying youtubers (even SeamlessR) to "review" their pack - as you can imagine, everybody say same thing - best pack, worth it. However, this little insight into dark and shady waters of sample industry is spreading, let's hope more people will find out and sink this strange shady company (and the others).

As much annoying as it could sound, producer/dj nowadays also has to be manager, visual artist, blogger and tons of other professions  ;D (at least in the beginning)

If you feel like your music can attract people, you should encourage yourself and start to learn a bit of a marketing - there are tons of youtube videos (balancing with quality) about "selling yourself" as an artist, this should at least give you some basic understanding.

More than that it's just about opening the doors that nobody openned before you = you need to find unique way of how to get heard, not only sitting on soundcloud. This path is full of tries and fails and YOU need to discover one path that suits you best.
Few examples of original breakthrough:
myspace.com - Justice, Skrillex (closed door nowadays  :'( )
showing unique content on youtube - Madeon (Pop Culture made him widely known)
Reddit - (I think) was a place that helped KRNE
Create unique-style remixes - Kygo

Or just put a mask on and create this "mysterious artist" persona  ;D ;D

As you can see, nobody followed one formula how to reach so many people, they had to open unused "doors" to success

Czech Republic. Near, but still too far. (Titanic pun anyone? ;D)
But you're doing right thing. Having a mate in this endevour can work miracles.
Finally confirmed my suspicions, "CZ" is there for a reason  ;D I'm Czech Republic too
CZ: ahoj, snad se počty čechů na foru rozrostou :D

I've been using cymatic's jack you vol. 1 drum pack a lot recently. Great for dubstep and trap tracks!
Sorry, but these are just overcompressed f*cks. I must say Wallmart drums are a treasure tho, plus they're free.
Because I just can't seem to stick to one genre, I use various packs depending on genre:
for all kinds of house songs I love Singomakers Mainroom House - you can find some nice drums, especially kicks and snares
For trap/hiphop stuff I like Blvck sheep drumkit (it's for free so get it :) ) Phonotix pack ("best selection from free drumkits on the internet") and some stuff from KRNE sample pack is pretty sweet too :)
(free) honorable mentions: Metroo Boomin Razer pack, Quix sample pack, Trisamples 808 trapstep pack 1,2

I haven't released anything for almost a year now. Year ago I uploaded last song, which is by now deleted off my SC, because I realized how shitty it was. My musical taste and what I do changed a lot since that time, I decided to completely reboot my "persona" - new name, professional logo and artworks, new attitude. Right now I'm working a lot of songs and I'm quite happy, as I said to myself I won't release any song until I feel it's finished.
Some people say that forcing yourself to work under a pressure of deadline helps them finish the songs, I stopped doing remix comps because I realized I don't work well under deadlines, mix and everything sounds really bad.
