Sadly, I'd have to say the release date for this sample pack will be delayed, as there has been a problem with the motherboard of my computer that has come up and basically means I need to get an entirely new computer but I should be able to save all my data, hopefully, Which the sample pack is currently about two gigabytes of stuff. So as soon as I can afford too, I will get to trying to get y'all what I can!

I Love some experimental neurohop stuff, and this is really good, as a whole the song sounds empty in places where it shouldn't, except the drop, the drop's emptiness sounds go amazingly well in the position, but everything else doesn't quite compare well to the drop. experimentation wise, done really well, composition wise, everything could use just a little bit more to it.

Tieme Typhonic, thanks for trying to help! Whatever samples you have I will gratefully add to the project, and obviously credit you! Just DM me whenever and I will be waiting impatiently! ;D

And as for flute, lucky you, I can play the flute, so I can definitely experiment with that, see what I can do! Definitely will work on some ambient type stuff too, lots of pads and calm melodies! Thanks a ton for the suggestions!

Collaborations / I want to work on YOUR stuff
« on: January 19, 2017, 09:35:41 pm »
I always work on my own personal original projects and tend to stay in my own headspace, away from others, despite having experience working with others. Put simply, I want to work on some other people's projects. I want to work on your stuff. I want to remix something you've finished or I can help you complete something you are already working on!

Artist Name: Pzychosis
Years Experience: 7 years.
DAW: FL Studio
Genre: I'm pretty much open to working on any genre.
Other Genres: My personal taste, I don't tend to like Progressive House or Big Room House, but I'm willing to work with it still if it's good.
Third Party Plug-ins Used: I guess that's up to you?
Preferred Contact Method: Private message me here on the forum or on Soundcloud!
Previous Work: https://pzychosis.bandcamp.com/

ALSO, if there's anything you have to offer to put in the sample pack that you just want to give back to the community, just PM me! Don't worry, if there's anything that's yours I'll make sure you're credited!

About a 8 months ago I put out my Religion of Bass Serum Preset Pack, which was mainly meant for the people here at The Producer's Forum as a way of giving back! Now I'm working on another sample pack that will released exclusively for the people of TPF, (THAT'S YOU :D) but I need to you ask y'all just a simple question!

What do you want?

I would love to just give you a bunch of stuff I worked on but I think it'd be better if I started adding stuff y'all want!
What's something you've always wanted but not many sample packs had or you couldn't afford the ones that were offering?
Specific Drum Loop styles, specific instruments, certain genre/melodic styles, presets, etc, you name it.

PLEASE, I NEED YOUR HELP TO HELP YOU GUYS!

Finished Tracks / Re: [NEW MUSIC GENRE]

I wouldn't exactly call it a new music genre, more like chill trap. BUT still, it's well-mixed for the most part, not much variation, but it's not really necessary. Sounds really nice though and very well fit together with the future bass elements.

Gonna be honest, I love this. Grew up with a lot of funk and jazz on my soul and this really does it well. As a blues pianist, I can say that you really nailed this track. Marketing wise, Saying it's "THIS PERSON HERE" Kind of pulls away from any professionalism. Cover bands don't get famous, man.
It may get you some amateur rappers in the short term who google "Mac Miller Type Beat" But if you want long term, it's not going to work well, your pseudonym isn't even in the title, which is how your whole branding is established. I say all this because I really liked the music, but your marketing is hurting you in the long run. Because to them, you're not selling them your services, you're selling them the rights to use your copying machine. It's fine to make songs/tracks/beats that are similar to others, familiarity bias actually helps, but straight up saying that it's "THIS PERSON HERE" as most of the title defeats of having an artist name.
ANYWAYS, I know you didn't post it here for a music marketing lesson, so my apologies, I tend to get carried away. Still, the song sounds great, well mixed and great rhythmic elements and some funky chord progression that I'm definitely a huge fan of.

Really love the minimal style put to a good use, but tip of advice, call the song what it is. this is a bootleg remix, so call it that, or at least just remix. I get that you want it to be a certain style to the name and everything, but it's disrespectful to the original artist to exclude their name from the work that they put into it. now, I know you put their name in the post, but the song itself excludes due credit, not cool, dude.
OTHER than the moral rambling, all in all the remix sounds really nice and the minimal looping beat compliments the original vocals fairly well.

Finished Tracks / Party F/L/Avors EP (Want Opinions! :D)

My EP is on preorder and I was just hoping to get some constructive criticism on the two tracks you can hear right now, I'll ask you all on what you think of the rest of the songs when it's fully released, but for now, I'd love opinions on the two you can hear right now!

Nothing really too negative to say about this, it does the job right, and I like the vibes. The low pitch vocal at the end could have been made just a bit quieter, also just wanted to say in a different context it sounds like it would have been a drop vocal for Headhunterz. The rest it's just a really nice jam. Thumbs up!

Really like the embracing sound design and filling instruments that give a chill vibe reverberating. The vocal honestly really hampers the song rather than add to it, I'd suggest Keeping it, but maybe play it for a little shorter. and that point where it is just that string lead at about 2:44ish, it's an unfitting emptiness, but I do think the song all together just sounds really nice all over.

Both your One More Time Remix and the Digital Love remix just sound like slowed down versions, and that's literally all the difference I hear. I can't tell if you're serious about these or not, but they aren't really anything creative.

Not too much, personally, for the barebones style of Progressive style music, especially the trance, but it definitely sounds good, I would love more complexity here and there, but I know very well the style/genre doesn't really bode well with trying to overcomplicate. Sounds good, doesn't stand out of the woodwork though, though's there's technically nothing wrong with that, If you like the way you do, then why stop, It's music not Quantum Mechanics.
