Seriously.  Thank you all so much.  If anyone cares to check out the people I drew inspiration from.....

Naden

Ummmm, I don't think so, really.  I think there maybe could have been a little more variation in the drop and the subsequent repeats of that wobble with the arp over it.  But I liked that a lot so I didn't mind so much.  The vocal editing was sweet in the middle there.  And I think you did right by keeping it minimal during the verses.  I did notice that things may not be all locked in and quantized.  Which could help things pop a little bit more.  Wasn't sure if it was the percussion or the vocal not lining up exactly on the downbeat at times.

But despite my little qualms, I really do think it's a great track and I can tell you put a lot of time into it.  Really nice work.  Gotta let me know when it's officially released, man.  Would love to pick it up.

Um yup.  Immediately downloaded.  Really really really really really good.

Incredible detail.  The only thing that kind of bugs me is the clap.  Sticks out a bit too much because of the extra little delay tap with it (if that makes sense).  Otherwise I love every single thing about it.

So I really really don't want to spam with all my stuff, but just in case anyone wants a house remix of that classic bomberman hero tune, here you go.  Free download.

I know the mixdown needs work among other things, but I couldn't find all the samples and stems I had saved for this file.  Oh well.
Thank you all for the love on my other tunes.  I appreciate it so much.  I'm seriously so humbled.  Thank you all.

Really really really solid.  Your tunes remind me of Lane 8.  And I really like Lane 8.  Amazing work.  I think you need some more followers or something, manggg!

It's actually not a vocal sample at all. It's a Microbrute lead with a slow attack! That synth can get some strange sounds.

Thanks for the feedback!

Whoaaaaaa dude for real?  That's so weird.  I like its uniqueness a lot.  The panning and use of it is really cool.

Yooo Steven.  Hey, gave your tune a listen.  So (i am not speaking from a place of authority here, obviously) I think the mixdown could use a bit of cleaning to get the highs out where you want them and bring out a couple other things.  But besides that, things I love about this: your progression, your choice of varying timbres, you spacing (i love clean spacing of notes and rhythms), and your melody in general.  I think this is an amazing track and I really like you how you ended it.  You also kept the vocals really clean over the top and everything gels really nicely.

Overall great work, dude.  If you have any thoughts about your mixdown or whatever that you would like to share, feel free.  Keep up the good work.

I'll just say I agree with everything else already, as Its already been said!

The only thing ill say could bring this to the next level is maybe focus on longer, more complex chord progressions. If you can get the 'feels' factor in to the downtempo parts of the track, you'll be onto something really really special. Really look forward to more of your stuff dude!

P.S. that bass beat got me movin yo! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

dude for real this is killer

Dude. Guys. Thank you. This is unreal. I agree with you, scribit. I need to work on developing more interesting chord progressions. I realize my tunes are pretty dull in that department. Even the last couple wips I have all sound the same. Haha. I greatly appreciate the feedback. And I really liked yours and Icehunts tunes. Both of you guys have some great sound design. I've also been really impressed with everyone's mixdowns. Really quality tunes

Thanks guys. Peace.

Great idea for a topic. Most of the tracks i finish are progressive. I'm a creature of habit and I grew up on the OG deadmau5 remixes (from like 2006/7) and I'm a sucker for plucks. Onward!

Hahahaha I'm right there with you, dude.  That is exactly how I am.  The mau5 plucks were my draw to progressive house.  Still find myself reverting to them.

Whoaaaaaa dude yes.  I almost forgot about him when he disappeared for a while.  Animus and Broadway were two huge tracks for me back in the day.  Thank you so much for sharing this one.  I gotta look him up again.

First of all, thank you so much for the praise.  I can't even handle it right now.  I am so thankful.  The lead was made with a basic Analog in ableton.  I had a slow attack on the filter, sweeping the cutoff from 100 at the beginning of the breakdown up to 3k through the peak in the second "chorus" section.  The slow attack gave that "wah" sound I was looking for.  I was sick of all the stabby/pointy things I had been making.

Then I threw on a saturator, EQ, a stereo widener and a compressor and that was basically it.  I didn't detune it or do much else to it.  It worked out pretty well.

Thanks again, guys.  And thank you Heymac for saying it reminded you of SevenDoors.  That's huge.  Major respect for him and am honored to even be compared to him.

Dude this is fantastic.  GOSH i'm loving this forum right now.  So many good tunes.  The key changes/chord changes are incredible.  The anticipation of each one just leads the change so well.  I love when it lands each time.  And your sounds are super clean.  Really nice work, dude.  I look forward to listening through more of your stuff.

Got one more...this was a heavy one I finished under my "Sooper Cartel" alias.  Really really proud of this one despite the minimalism.  Please let me know what you think.  Thank you all in advance for any feedback/critique.  Download the tune if you want.  And feel free to message me your tunes.  I would love to check them out.

Peace and love, dogz.
