Dear producers (not a track but an advice)
« on: January 07, 2016, 12:04:29 am »
Dear producers,

You should all have your email address on your soundcloud account for maximal networking. People might want to contact you, and emails are often used to do so :)

Cheers!

Definitely a good idea! Also the fact that many people might not know how to present themselves and their music online might call for the creation of another subforum - I'll talk to Mat and see what he thinks.

There's a system called "private messages" on soundcloud, I think it serves a purpose, not sure.

The only reason I don't is because some people may use it to send spam/viruses/etc.
Other that this point it would seem like a great idea

Imagine my surprise when I found out "restraining order" did not mean she wanted me to tie her up.

Great idea for the subforum... branding/presenting yourself is a big part of it all for sure!

I don't get it. You might get alot of spam, but in between all that spam there might be an actual request or booking. So why not tolerate the spam?

Just make sure it's not your personal email, and that it's your contact email. That way you keep your personal email as clean as possible.
