This is awesome, I really like your style!   This has a very bass house type groove to it that reminded me of Ephwurd/Hi-Lo/etc, so good job!

I think that figuring out how to make your percussion, specifically your hats more audible in the overall mix and focus more of the mix attention towards them should improve the groove even more and get it sounding even closer to those producers above (if that's what you're going for).  I would check your panning and stereo wideness on your hats, as it may help a lot if you can get them more off to the sides and away from the center part of the mix with all the sub bass and basslines.  Also, if you can make any EQ cuts in your bass synths/others to try and free up even more room for those hats to come through, that will likely help too.  Please keep in mind that I am still learning this genre myself as well and I'm no expert, but I think this should help you :)

If you would like to give a listen, would love to hear your thoughts on my new track below, which is also bass house :)

Great song man, just felt like the hats could use some more movement here and there

I think he was talking about groove (it simply means some variations in drum elements , so the drums won't sound so boring/monotonously). Honestly in my opinion drums are okay. I think there is too much bass in bass sometimes (Like I have a feeling the track in some moments is too muddy).
If you want to collaborate , just send me a PM :P

Honestly its just my personal preference.

Listen to the drop on Moksi - Brace Yourself (or pretty much any future/bass house track) and check out the movement in the hats. Maybe adding something like that to the second half of a drop could add some movement.

Ahh I know what you mean both of you,yes I am trying to figure out how to arrange the drums so it sounds less repetitive and nicer.

I am a huge fan of Moksi and admire their stuff and how groovy their songs are ;)

This guide below may be very helpful for you to check out, especially the section on deep/future house about midway down.

This one is great for some additional tricks/tips after you've gone through the big guide to keep your drums sounding even more unique/interesting

Jauz and Pegboard Nerds had a remix contest for "Get On Up" a while back where they included all stems (such nice guys!).  The drum/percussion loop was made up of about 8 different layers.
