I find it really hard to let people listen to my music. I put a lot of time, devotion and love into it. And to deal with comments on "my baby's" is difficult for me at times. Although I can separate personal opinions from proper feedback.   
Of course I know I can still learn a lot. And I'm working on that every single day. But at some point you should let people hear what you make, right? I easily think my tracks are not finished yet, ending up not letting anybody hear them. Or when I finally do I get not so nice comments (or no comments at all) which makes me insecure again.

Just do it!
What´s the worst thing that can happen? People don´t like it?  Well, that doesn´t affect the number of fans that your music has, as the current number is zero.
Come to terms with the fact that early works will be embarrassing to look back on, but that they´re a part of the journey.  If you get better, then your earlier finished tracks will seem more basic, because you have evolved.

Read them carefully and take them into consideration. That's all.

If someone took the time to leave a comment on your track, they either want to see you improve, or think you're doing fine already.

How many finished tracks have you made so far?

Somewhere around 90 tracks so far (in the last 4 years). But most of them I never shared, except with my wife and some really close friends. Maybe I'm giving myself an answer here already. I'd say this.

You're going to get your balls or ovaries busted either way and at some point you should almost seek that to get better.

My problem with the internet is the inherit disassociation of human feelings, and the lack of body language often makes the text messages easy to misinterpret.

You might have to find meaning in the words they chose, more so than the words chosen for face value. But you should be able to discern what is good comments and what is not worth you time getting stressed about.

I deal with same issue honestly except it has more to do with me being much to critical of my own work. If I feel something is bad then I automatically think everyone thinks the same which is a bad habit because it's not necessarily always true.

Honestly, I would REALLY like to hear your music. If you've made 90 tracks then I'm sure there has to be at least one of them that I like. I think most people are pretty nice when it comes to feedback. I haven't ever had anyone tell me "This song sounds like absolute garbage" aside from myself. Sometimes people are blatantly honest like Marrow when it comes to issues in your music but it's only for the sake of making it better. (Which he's definitely helping me out on)

OPTIONS:

• Don't read them or block them, which is not exactly the proud way to handle this but you won't see them.
• Deal with it, if they truly are your babies, you should care what others think about your children, a parent doesn't need that bullshit negative influence on their children.
• Listen with perspective, my personal favorite. Hear what they say, but only truly listen to those you consider are trying to help you, whether it be positive reinforcement or constructive criticism. Everything with a grain a salt and a heap of logic.
