Which DAW do you use?

If you're using FL Studio, their Parametric EQ2 and Limiter are pretty awesome - and of course, free within your DAW.

Reaper's ReaPlugs collection is free to download and they are some of the highest grade free plugins that I've seen.
Really easy to use while still sounding proffessional.

i think its much better to practice EQ and compression with the ones in built in your DAW, the best EQ plug ins are from fab filter imo, fab filter Q2

lol its alright, everyone uses a cracked sylenth, its better to learn EQ/compression, reverb etc, with your built in ones and how it works before you go and buy 3rd party plug ins, takes awhile man to learn that stuff

This. I use the TDR as my drum bus compressor in every track I make. Can't stand by their products enough.
