Röyksopp - Eple:

This song IS my childhood. Been listening to this since I was 11, and never grew tired of it. The groove is so fucking amazing.

Used to spend up to 100 hours (looking at the FL studio time thing) trying to improve on my tracks when starting out. I mean its cool and shit if it works for you, but in my case I realized it kinda ends up being endless turd polishing. Now I try limiting myself to 30-40 hours. (though I usually go above that still, especially with endless FL studio crashing and rendering on my slow-ass pc)

Because its so much fun, and you get the biggest dopemin feeling ever when you make something good. Fucking endless possibilities, you can make up whatever crazy sound you want and nobody can stop you.

having busses for stuff like "bass", "synths" and "drums" makes shit so much easier for me.

My biggest inspirations mostly come from the music i've been listening to when I were younger.

Deadmau5 is the obvious answer, everything about this guy is awesome. His mindblowing progressions and unique sounds I adore. Love his honesty and integrity too. Same can be said about Wolfgang Gartner and Mat Zo.

I used to be listening to lots of french house when I were younger, especially Mr. Oizo, Danger and Sebastian. Their glitchy style inspires me alot.

Talking about glichy stuff I love the old Skrillex music, fucking outstanding.

oh and Aphex Twin is god. recently i've been listening to lots of IDM, all his AFX stuff and The Tuss stuff. Also love squarepusher and most of the Luke Vibert stuff, especially wargon christ.

edit:

fuck I forgot RÖYKSOPP! those guys are like the reason I started listening to Electronic music. Melody AM is one of the best albums ever imo.

well this is sexy as fuck, love the intro. did not except the change.

some more reverb on that uhh plug thing, it needs to be more in center. also track needs more sub. better mixing in general too.

maybe start the drop with just kick and plug thing? then build it up from there?

great work, keep it up man!

you need to add much more stuff and change those keys. also sidechain those supersaws.

don't know much about this genre, but it sounds good. drop needs to hit harder, but yeah better mixing will do it.

eh, umm, label, audiophile deep?

WIPs / Re: In terms of EDM/Big Room is this good?

its cheesy as fuck, but it got potential.....and I really like cheese sometimes....

there needs to happen much more stuff in the build-up. also white noise in drop interfere with supersaw freq.

just play around with random saw tooths man, use pitch automation and shit. porter's sounds really aren't that complicated.

it sounds too thin, also the vengeance sample was kinda cringy and way tooo loud on the high end.

the basses in the beginning are cool, but ain't got no highs, maybe try some distortion. also try n add a cool snare with some nice attack.  the boom part is super muddy, change that.
