I'm gonna have to agree that there is very little bass, and take it a bit further, there's not much for mid-range either.
Also I don't sense much of an actual melody or defined chord progression (but I mean that's kind of what I prefer in tracks), but that high end synth seems to be more all over the place than anything.
The production is super clean though! Props!
Thank you for the help and production props Arcuo! I definitely took what you said and ran with it. I went back in and cut the high's, I will agree that it sounded way to "screechy". I also added in a mid range melody in the intro to create a more "harmonic" sound.
You were also right about the high end synth sounding all over the place, I had the arppegiator set to bounce which was causing some craziness. I changed it to sticky and went in and fixed all the chords as necessary. Also as far as the chord progressions, I did clean that up slightly as well. I was going a lot more by ear when creating a lot of the melody and a lot of my keys fell out of place.
I was able to bring my bass pad in louder as well! I should have thought about this earlier but I low passed all the high end out of it, and band passed the low mid range to help give room for the kicks. Being able to bring the bass pad in louder has made it more dynamic, in my opinion.
Lastly, I finished up the outro!
If you or anyone has any more tips, I'm still all ears! But this will probably be my last project link for it. I'm extremely happy and excited with how this song has turned out. Especially as I said this is my first full production and composition! I'm wanting to continue furthering my knowledge in sound design, composing, and music theory and I feel like it's time to pack it up on this one and start on something new and fresh.
Thank you again guys for you tips, they were extremely helpful and helped broaden my knowledge!
Here's the final link and some continued feedback would be awesome!
