Finished Tracks / Re: Feel | My First Track [not sure of genre]
« on: January 17, 2016, 05:22:09 pm »
Being that this is your first track i wasn't expecting this... Kinda makes me feel like wtf have i been doing. @2:37 that flute sound is a bit high. Kinda kills that chill vibe. @3:55 its a bit too quiet. Pretty cool over all guy!

This will create a heavy load on the server. I disagree.
How do you know the specifics of the TPF web server(s?) necessary to make that assessment?
Most forums do not have a notification system due to the heavy CPU load. It would make more sense to have a way to view your posts that been replied to. I'm surprised SMF does not have this out-of-the-box. Or i might be overlooking it.

It seems that the effects are to quiet mate. I like the melody, has that summer feel.

I agree with this. It is not hard to write a mod for that section. You must post twice in that section before each thread can be made.

I enjoyed this one. Got a bit caught up in thinking about you making all of the synths.  It most have taken very long to complete.  It was nice to hear that you had captured the feeling of your inspiration, but not copied it.  DonĀ“t know about the commercial opportunities, but it is a really nice piece of work.
Good luck with it.
Thank you ion! It did take a bit to complete, but the synths are very simple. Just a little distortion and automation.

I compensate this by leaving individual tracks loader or turning them down.

I love the bassline and this gives me a bit of nostalgia, as in it reminds me of a club song in a game. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M212A0NTrEc), But yours sounds better no doubt lol. You nailed the minimal feel, but the high end seems non existent. Was that done on purpose for a more "warm" feeling?

The vocals at the drop sound a bit in the background. Or that the main synth pluck is overpowering it.
