There's not a whole lot going on in the really high end (where some producers use white noise etc.)

I think another part of it is stereo width. I don't know a lot about how to change this but maybe whatever delay/reverbs you're using aren't giving enough sense of space.

Unrelated but some of the notes are clashing also (at 0:09-0:10 and 0:24-0:25)

I would second that comment about music theory, particularly with regards to composition. There are some nice ideas in there but the tune lacks structure. Or at least, the structure doesn't feel very natural (buildup, drop, interlude etc., that kind of thing.)

That kick also needs to be quite a bit higher in the mix, the low end at least. It might be a case of finding a different one.
