Need some feedback on a recent WIP of mine. I can't decide whether I wanna finish it or not.
Any and all feedback is welcome!

WIPs / Re: Progressive House WIP
« on: January 12, 2016, 07:11:36 pm »
It sounds great to me!
(Granted I couldn't listen on my studio monitors so my perception of the mix might have been a little off)

I think this is a great start to a solid "progressive house" track. I like the atmosphere created in the beginning and the mix of instruments and sounds play well together.
Keep at it!

WIPs / Chorus/"Drop" sounding weak/odd on some of my tracks!?
« on: January 12, 2016, 02:46:24 am »
I've been making music for a while and there is one concept that I still can't seem to get right every time.

I can get my verses and build ups sounding super clean and nice, but many times they overshadow the chorus/drop of the track leaving an empty feeling in the song.
This happens a lot when trying to make more bass oriented sections and trying to take focus away from the chords. These sections end up sounding empty and lack
the fullness of the rest of the song. I cannot understand why this is happening. Any advice would be helpful.

Here are some examples of what I mean:

Example #1:

This song seems to loose some of its full mix sound at 1:10 and I'm not sure why. My only guess is that it switches from chords to a Bass element standing as the main element.

This one is less of a problem but the Chorus just sounds a little off mixing wise and I'm not sure what it is.

Finished Tracks / Re: White Knight - Lunar Forest (Ambient/Chillout)

This song sounds nice I like the atmosphere it creates. Its fairly unique as far a ambient stuff. Only thing I hear that could have been edited a little is the constant arpeggiator, because it got slightly annoying about 2/3 of the way through. The arp sounds nice but could be pushed back a bit in the mix or fade in and out slowly over the course of the song.

Overall I like it, keep up the good work.

This is my first post in these forums. I've been searching for a good forum community for producers and I stumbled across this.
I'd appreciate if you gave my song a listen and gave any feedback you can.
