Hey guys
Haven't been here in a long time, was busy producing I guess
I've made a Remix/Flip/whatever of "Shape Of You" that I can't quite tell yet if it's some sort of genious, or just standard. Would really appreciate all kinds of feedback (will also return feedback if asked for).

Hello my fellow producers!
I'm getting tired of my old Macbook that I've been using over the last 1.5 years for producing. It had a 2.5GHz Intel Core i5 processor and just 4GB RAM. I've been doing some research on the Web, and the best Laptop for my Budget seems to be the "Acer Aspire V15". Does anybody have experience with it or know a reason why I shouldn't buy it and which other Laptop I should buy? I'm just extremely tired of my terribe CPU on my macbook and I really want to be able to run Ableton with a lot of CPU-heavy Plugins like Serum and Ozone open, but at the same time I have to buy a Laptop, so please don't give me any Desktop-advice!

Samples/Plugins/Software/Gear / Soundcloud Copyright Issues

Hey guys!
Over the last few weeks I've started to do more remixes, mainly as practice, but also just because it's fun.
When I wanted to upload them on SC, some got taken down (Clarity by Zedd) and some not (Chandelier by Sia). How should I go about knowing in advance whether my Remix will get taken down by SC due to copyright? Just upload the clean acapella on my SC and then look if it will get deleted? Or is it only certain labels that take down remixes?
Any help would be appreciated!

1st question: How do you go about slowing down the plucky Synth at 1:41 (after the first Refrain)? And 2nd question: Which tom-samples are you using right before the drop (at 1:00)?

Thx for the tip. How would you go about integrating the Samples in a Song? Just picking a few Samples, put them inside your Sampler, figuring out the key and play them as MIDI notes? My concern is that that samples pitched up or down might not have great qualitiy anymore...

I really love how detail oriented you were, having all kinds of tiny Samples that really make the song a journey to listen to. What I'm missing most here is some kind of tension building up. I don't mean that you should completely follow standard EDM arrangement, but for the general listener the red thread might be missing.

Hey guys
I feel like I'm quickly improving, regarding my production skills. Musically this is definitely not a masterpiece, I know, but the mixing has improved I think. (you can compare to my older track "Alecto" on my SC). I'm still so unsure what I want my Music to be and I don't really feel comfortable yet to show my Music to my friends etc, that's why I'm trusting you guys to come through as always and give some critique.
The Song itself is Louis The Child inspired as I experimented with some wobbly Synths.
Any Feedback is appreciated, please be as hard as you can with me as I'm really trying to improve.
