Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've listened to this track and it's funny how I notice areas I could have improved it. It was definitely a good exercise in learning how to warp vocals to varying bpms.
I originally purchased the background track (waves) from Beatport, AIFF quality, so that it would sound better when the project was ultimately exported to mp3. However, when I added the Adele vocal, I was suddenly clipping the master volume, so I turned down the background.
Any idea how, in the future, I can take a background track, incorporate vocals, and keep the background at the same volume as the original (like if youtube was to play the original, then skip to this one and have the same volume).
I've heard good things about this "Invisible Limiter" and think that may be the solution, as I dont want to add any additional effects or whatever, just preserve the original sounds and add a vocal, without clipping.
Thanks for any advice you can provide!
