honestly I think this probably happens to most artists. It used to take me a week to write a song and it would be a STRUGGLE to get to the end. Now, I try and do the majority of the work as quickly as possible so I can hang onto the inspiration the originally drove me to that particular track.
I'll usually try and create something new every week which means constantly trying to find new inspiration. I think truly good songs do take longer than others but I think that after hearing the same beat/chord progression/melody etc enough times, we're bound to lose interest. A song is never as good as the first time you hear it.
Just try and take breaks and don't force anything.
