Everytime the vst is played it appears that error. I would like to know why? is a CPU problem? Few days ago it worked perfect. Thanks in advance!

Try reinstalling the VST. If still doesn't work, try the free Piano One VST, similar to mda piano:

Cheers, zuddox
thanks it started to work today idk why but xD, thanks for the advice anyway, cheers! :D

Well, I guess the sub is a bit loud like you said. I also think there's a little too much compression on the whole track because I hear that "fluttering" effect the whole time, and just about everything seems to be a little too squished in the mix. I'd also suggest taming some of the resonances in the end when that bitcrusher comes in, because it kinda irritated my ears there.
Actually i just wanted to mix kanye's vocal with something of my style, thank you for the advices and sorry about the bitcrushing :( , i will spend time experimenting :)

The melody + chords work really well but I feel the mix is lacking dynamics, it sounds too compressed for this type of a track.

You could also try giving a shave to a few sounds with an EQ because I can hear some mud in the mix.
yes i should work hard in eq and compression, maybe controlling clipping is better than compression here. thanks for the advice! :D

With right approach this could become kind of a Porter-esque experimental track.

Imho:
- Get rid of that jingle bells as soon as possible. May be replace it with a shaker.
- Play with delays and reverbs a bit more.
- Play with filter envelopes on that voice-ish/flute-ish synths.
- Add some damn heavy beat. :)
Thought the jingle bells thing was a good idea xD, thank u for the advice ill try it :)

Sound Design / Re: Bass leads

What is the best techniques for having the bass be your lead?
My problem is a lot of the time it feels too flat and not big/fat sounding.

Any suggestions?
do you refer to bass sounds to fill the lead and make it fatter?

I think the velocity is changing between really soft and really hard a bit too much; especially the chords right after 7 seconds. Did you record those ambient sounds yourself?
mm i think youre right i messed up with the notes' velocity. Thank u for the opinion! And no, all the ambient is reverb and a rain sample that i downloaded from the internet :)

i think the second mix is better, maybe you should add more bass frequencies like a detuned saw to fill the sound even more, hope i can help! :D

What are you using for the piano sounds? The track sounds great, especially towards the middle when more elements and strings are introduced. If you had a better sounding piano or vst for one the track would sound 100x better.
i'm using "Mini Grand" besides this i have Nexus Pianos, and i dont think they're so much better :l http://www.pluginboutique.com/product/64-Virtual-Instrument/1683-Mini-Grand

This is nice man, you have a good ear for rhythm. I like how the track has little switches between 1/3 and 1/4 beats, one of my favourite little tricks that is...

Difficult to comment on much else as it's only a short clip, feel free to post the whole track up!
thanks! 100% agree i really like those kinda switches too :p!  i have only made this little test to see my skills and like "testing myself" in this genre, i reckon i will continue this and upload in the forum the final result. Really apreciate the comment :)
