Awesome. I think I'll add a finger snap to the "snare". Also would like to create more tension in some of the transitions either by integrated silence or better build ups.

Good start and Agree that you should take it somewhere.

Consider adding some white noise and fx as well to give it some movement.

It'd be nice to see you try to add some depth to that lead instrument you have. It sounds like it's a straight saw wave stab, see if you could either evolve that or choose something less electronic and more organic since everything else is electronic.

Also - rythmically, add some variation to that lead. If it's arpegiated pause every now and then or add a finishing variation to the 4th bar.

Thanks a lot.

I'm a huge fan of tribal ethnic sounds, TAIKO drums (that snare), and eastern sounds. Shimmery stuff.

Funny you bring up the vocalist, totally agree. I have a few friends who are vocalists. I'm picking up a new 9-5 job, so as soon as the income starts coming in i'lll get a vocal setup and start having fun with that.

Some new beats, a work in progress about 70% there I'd say.

Sampled tribal vocals, Japanese Taiko drums & a speech  on synthesizing sound (circa 1950)

I think a couple sounds I used could be adjusted, both in terms of instruments/levels.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Happy to return the feedback, especially if have similar styles. I'm into airy vibes with strong beats and a flavor of experimental. Think Bonobo, Odesza, Flume, Apparat.

Agree with Dot on the fun feel.

It's got a nice smooth vibe to it, taking a page out of the Kaskade/Deadmau5 I remember playbook.

You do a really nice job with the white noise FX transitions.  Also I like your percussive elements, they sit well together. Are those loops or hand made?

I think to get it longer like Dot mentions, add a new element at the end of your track and ride with that for a while.

Thanks for that feedback. I added a verse at the end and added some more FX. Definitely agree the synth needs to be beefed up, I think I settled with this synth too soon.

New version below, had some fun with the marimba instrument. Love layering that.

One of the first tutorials I'd play around with  - Really helped me. This is a similar sound from a classic track.

Love the LFO modulation you do. I feel like the vocals should be a little higher tonality wise?

I think sidechaining that white noise with a longer release would work better here.
