WIPs / Re: Future bass wip

Yeah, like it's not like heavy enough. It just feels like you build up, and then go to another pre drop. You get me?

i get ya, man! maybe widening the saw a bit, + some reverb will fix this bitch...
thanks for the feedback though! appreciate it.

This gives me like a anime/ Japanese vibe HAHAHAH. Anyways, it's really hard to distinguish a drop in this.

Funny you mentioned that, because that´s exactly what i´m going for! hahahaha! i actually have a few samples form an anime show i plan on using!
Please elaborate, do you mean like it´s not "heavy" enough? or is it composition wise?

Great tip! will definitely work out something like that!

thanks for the feedback man!:)

Working on variation with the melody is something i definitely will do, it get´s kinda repetitive i suppose.
not totally sure what to do though...

really like the atmosphere on this. and as noahnorrod said, the vocals fit like a glove to this track.
great job so far!

WIPs / Future bass wip

been working on a track for a while, in the future bass genre (which is new too me), and i would appreciate some feedback :) don´t be afraid to be harsh.
there are a few things missing, a small part where there will be some sort of vocals. just haven´t figured that one out yet.

love the sound of it! Great chord progression aswell.
i think erikF hit this nail on the head tho. perhaps adding some sidechain to that kick aswell so it shines more through. and bring forth that beautiful melody you have! it leaves me kind of in a state of blue balls, as i can barely hear it. but perhaps that´s why i like it so much... not really sure about that one.

followed you on soundcloud, since i really want to hear the finished product!

i like it! it´s very different from most of the trap i´ve heard before, and that´s a good thing. i think you took the acoustic part pretty on the spot.
i think you pretty much got it summarized..
longer drop, and general mixing/mastering. and this is gold in my opinion!

the mix sounds clean af! the only thing i missed was some super gritty deep bass wubs at the end of each sequence, if you catch my drift (completely forgot the term i was looking for). kinda like an answer too the "question" that is answered. So i found myself kind of waiting for some deep and angry "wubwub".
i realy like your vocal chops and screams! the seem to fit nicely.

i think you did a pretty decent job so far, as i am not a great sound designer myself, i probably won´t say anything you have not figured out yourself, but it sounds like the original is a bit softer and wider... not sure how a reverb will fix things, but may be a start to get a little wider sound. it also sounds like they youse a bit more whitenoise than you are, but it might be a false accusation on my hand, as i did not listen to it on proper speakers...

i think you should to that, perhaps an eq to filter out the higher frequencies on the lead might help out the mix in general.. just gotta try things out really and se how it turns out. the synthwork alltogether is good tho!
think you just have to listen to it and find the sweetspot where you like it best.

the melody is quite catchy! and i like how the kick punches through in the drop. however, i think the lead in the drop is a wee bit loud as well as the snare and hats, it "hurts" a little bit when i turn the volume up and especially the hats use a little bit too much of the space.
The progression and layout of the track itself is great, be careful tho, so it does not get to repetitive when you go into that second break, maybe chill it out with some strings.

i´ve got faith in this one! lookin foreward to hear the end result.

thanks you guys!!! I kind of like switching up styles throughout my tracks but do you think it is detrimental?

not at all! I think it´s a nice twist to the wholeness of the track, makes it more interesting and less repetitive. But as Arigato and Orno said, the transitions needs some work to make it flow better.

i love the relaxing bassline, and the first downtempo has a really good effect(i lied, upon second listening i fucking love it!) the midsection could definitely be worked with. maybe adding some arpeggiated bells, make it a tiny bit more interesting or perhaps it will work out when you get the vocals?... great chord progression as well! and your synths/basslines is on point bro!

The intro though... something's not sitting quite right with me there, i feel like it doesn't fit that well to be honest. to clarify, the first 10 seconds is pretty damn nice, and the ambient-ish sound from :45 is good, but there is something in the middle there that doesn't fit all that well to the "vibe"

your beat, i've got nothing to say on that, except it's pretty damn good!

would actually be kinda cool if you worked in some retro samples from old nintendo games or something along that line in the small pauses...

in all, a great start! can't wait to hear the finished result! :D

Cool remix, man! i like that you're going a different style from the track, but still manages to uphold the essence of the original track. Cheeky with the Navi'i sample as well.
