Also, I did a video for this remix as well, so feel free to check that out if you want some visual entertainment as well!

this is pretty! did you do the vocaloid yourself?

were you to edit it in the future, i think i would try cleaning up the mixing in the middle section, before the drop. it gets kind of muddy, and though i like what's going on musically, theres not as much of a feeling of tension/release as there could be, just because of how loud that middle is.

the ending is really nice, too. i like what you did with incorporating that little bitcrushy sine he uses in the worlds show.

I found the vocaloid stem online awhile back and decided to start a remix with it.  Other than that everything else is by my design.  And thanks for the feedback appreciate it, there's quite a lot going on in the part before the actual drop involving reverb, white noise, and filters that it all sort of just created a mess in the end.

Decided to finish out 2016 by releasing this remix of "Goodbye To A World" by Porter Robinson I've been sitting on for awhile now.  Enjoy!

So, here it is, my remix of Sad Machine by Porter Robinson!  I put a lot of work and effort into this one and hope you enjoy every bit of it as much as I enjoyed making it!

WIPs / Madeon - La Lune remix WIP [Something missing?]
« on: March 20, 2016, 05:43:49 pm »
This is something I've been working on.  Feel free to leave some feedback because I feel like something is missing from this track overall.  I've only spent about 8 hours on this overall and really feel like it needs something.  Because I've pretty much had no feedback from anyone, I feel like some fresh ears would help pinpoint what this track needs exactly.  Thanks for listening!

WIPs / Future Bass WIP [Emoji remix] | Continue or no?
« on: February 25, 2016, 04:07:01 am »
I found the stems for this song not too long ago and started working on a remix.  I was wondering if I should continue on this path or abandon it altogether.  I have a multitude of other projects, but I don't know if I should put anymore time into it.  Thanks reviewing in advance, I really appreciate all feedback.

WIPs / Re: (WIP) Deeper Love [Future Bass Remix]

sounds cool dude, love the intro, however in the drop the main lead definitely needs to be louder and more pronounced. also sounds a little muddy so a high pass would help that. overall sounds great and cool idea!

Thanks, I still need to work on the mixing and mastering.  I usually finish the composition before I get into the mixing and mastering, haha.

WIPs / (WIP) Deeper Love [Future Bass Remix] | What should I improve on?
« on: January 18, 2016, 04:08:55 am »
I've been really trying to expand what genres I work with, and I decided to try my hand at future bass.  So here's something that's a bit experimental for me.  I'd love to get some advice and feedback on this because I don't really dabble in future bass that much.  I've only spent 5 hours on it, so it's still a bit on the rough side.

Side note: I'm also working on a future bass remix of Emoji by Pegboard Nerds.  I might upload that one a little later though if anyone wants to hear that as well.

WIPs / Re: Crossing Paths [Future Bass WIP] | Keep or Trash?

Nice job dude, the percussion really highlights the tracks movement. What're you doing with the percussion to get that downward pitching snares?

Also where do you get that "hey" sample from, I hear it everywhere.

I think your chord progression at the drop might be too complex or stretched. What if you simplified it?

If you wanted to keep the chord progression maybe adding more of a closing chord to end it.

Thanks, for the feedback.  I just automated the pitch on the snares so I could edit it easily if I need to.  It's quite an easy thing to do in FL Studio.  As for the "hey" sample, I found it a really long time ago, so if you want it, I can probably just send it to you privately.  With the chords, I'll take a look into that and try to work out the kinks and possibly simplify it.  I haven't really touched the project for a long time and that's one of the only things that has remained constant from the beginning of it all.

WIPs / Re: In my Mind Future Trap Remix

Amazing with what you have so far.  The only advice I have is to make the vocals cut through the mix cleaner because they seemed a bit drowned out by everything.  Other than that, I love what you've done.

WIPs / Crossing Paths [Future Bass WIP] | Keep or Trash?
« on: January 13, 2016, 04:11:37 am »
This is something I started over a year ago to start off the 2015, but I just never bothered actually finishing it.  I've gotten some feedback from a friend, and he told me that I should trash it because the melody doesn't fit well.  So, I'd just like some advice before getting rid of the project altogether.

This track is awesome. One thing I would say is the second "chorus" at 3:20 could have hit harder (not sure if you would want to go in that direction) but otherwise all around great track.

Thanks for the feedback, I tried making it hit harder, but due to the reverb and intense processing, that become a difficult thing to work with, haha.

The depth in this track is really great!

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy it, I have another track I'm working on currently, and hope you'll enjoy that one as well!

Awhile ago I decided to experiment with some ambient music because it's something that I've always enjoyed.  This track is dedicated to my friend who has been there supporting my music since the beginning of Forgotten Parallels, thanks so much!  The track was released with a small channel called Heiwa Media, I highly recommend them if you're really into chill-out music.  So I hope you enjoy my music as much as I enjoy making it!
