If youre using windows, right click the install file and try running as administrator, I had the same problem and this worked for me

Great sounds, really unique! Not much in the way of constructive feedback since your skills are def high imo.  On You Never Know, maybe around 2:07 do something to add interest, like drop the electro part and let the guitar solo take over.  Great job, nice to see OC musicians cranking out cool tunes

Konac I just realized I posted feedback and said I thought your kick was too loud lol.  Could definitely be a "me" issue and nothing wrong with your track.  Really do like your productions btw.

Thanks for taking the time to listen and for the tips!  Embed issue fixed, other parts might take some time... For the drums, do you think the kick needs to be levelled up too, or just the non-kick percussion?

Good quality and creativity, really enjoying them, thanks for sharing!

Here's a progressive track I've been working on for a while--I've been making tracks for a few years but this is my first public post for feedback--feel free to be brutal, it's hard for me to independently judge quality of my own work.  I like all the elements but I worry I've grown too attached to them to make good mixing judgments.  A couple of key concerns:  Overall, is the mixing OK?  I've tested on monitors, headphones, my car, and on laptop speakers to make adjustments.  To me it sounds decent and non-producer friends say they like it, but well-trained feedback would help.  Second, about the percussion, no matter what I try (on both individual and group tracks--EQ, compression, multiband, saturation, etc.) I feel like I can't get things as crisp and clear as pro tracks.  Let me know if it sounds OK or if it needs work, what I can do to improve.

Thanks so much!!

He is doing an lot of songs here in O.C. in the Californian sun - I bet that's the secret..  :D

Ilan's in OC?! I agree with your theory. But I'm in OC too and yet my DAW keeps plopping out turds. Strangest thing...

Somewhere in there, IIRC, Agnelli actually asks the same question--"how do you get that wall of sound?"  As far as recreating it, at least doing it well, I've tried and haven't really got good results.

Great job! Definitely got the Madeon feeling. The breakdown is beautiful.  The kick is a bit too punchy for my tastes but now I'm just nitpicking.  Really enjoying the breakdown and outro actually... this could be way off but I'm getting kinda a 2005-2010 BT vibe from those parts, in a really good way.

+1 on the Splice list.  Of those, most often I use Voxengo Span to check levels and frequency spread, TAL-bitcrusher (lightly) on snares/hats/percussion, and TAL-Filter-II because I've been too cheap to buy LFO Tool (I know I should just make the purchase).  You can get also some cool distortion out of CamelCrusher but I think they've stopped distributing it.  I probably still have the install file so PM me if you want it
