Hello all, I am stating a monthly or bi-monthly (not sure yet) release called Sampling Saturdays. The premise is that I remix or sample an entire album into a 8-20 min mix. I would love some feedback on the idea or on the tracks themselfs. This month it is The Life Of Pablo by Kanye West.

Sounds pretty good, I will say the melody is out of key or something is wrong with the sound design because the lead is a little off putting

I really like the arrangement and the music theory portion but the song sounds flat. Work on building the mood with sound design and have a lot of hard hitting elements during the drop. Get a loud bass in there t really fill it out

Sounds really really good

Great sound design all the elements flow right and the mix sounds glorious

one thing I would recommend, might want to take the pluck out for a couple sections or at least give it a back seat that way the track will feel less repetitive.

Also your Soundcloud profile link is dead. If you go into your settings and remove the link and just leave the username it will be fixed

Really interesting, I really like the delay on the pluck.
The intro is really good but I was wanting it to go double time after the break at 0:48.
Also the snare you used in the second half sounds like a much lower quality than the other samples. I would recommend changing that

I would recommend that you bring the first bass down in the mix and the deeper second bass up. This could be really cool if you started with the deep bass than brought the clingy bass in latter on. Starting out with the clingy bass is a bit jarring.
Otherwise good groove, keep it up.

Samples/Plugins/Software/Gear / Does 32 bit depth matter if I am using aux as my output? / What bit depth is aux?

Hi I was just learning about bit depth and decided to set ableton to 32 bit from 24. Will it make a difference if I am running my monitors into an aux port?
