Hey guys! So, I've been producing and playing music for a couple of years and I just got my first overseas paid production gig (woo!). I have to compose,record and mix a track for a singer/songwriter based in the UK and I have a week to get it done. I've been sent the acapella for the song idea right now and will get in touch with the artist over email/skype by the end of today. the only problem is I'm an absolute noob and this the first time I'll be dealing with a client professionally so I really need some tips, guidlines, steps (anything!) that would help me go about this the right way. I'm really not sure what steps I need to follow.  Any and all advice would help guys!

made pretty much in a whole day (16 hours now). It's like 2:25 am and I honestly cant tell what needs fixing but I am really proud of how most of it turned out. will go back tomorrow and work on the final mixed version so ignore the shitty bass for now. I really wanted to post this on hear and get some laser ears on my track to see what needs fixing (anything really just fire away) 

so I've been trying to figure out how madeon dj's in ableton for a while now. In particular how he switches tracks and also generally how everything's routed in his als. I've been trying to pull this thing off for quite a long time and after months of hair pulling and clunky unreliable live sets I have almost given up of making a template of my own. Before I completely give up and resort to shifting to traktor I'm really hoping there's still a chance this gets cracked somehow. There's no place online in my knowledge that completely explains this so I was hoping you guys here could help put two and two together here.

yes theres alot wrong with it (which I want to fix) but before I get down for a second session and polish it up I would love to hear any thoughts and pointers you guys could give!

Before I put this out there I really wanted some feedback on the arrangement of the track and know if you think it gets too monotonous at any point. If it does what would you suggest I do? I've heard it way too many times to know any better so figured might get some help on this. Any tips and overall feedback would be reallllly appreciated
