Welcome here ! :)

This reminds me of the time I was listening to Hardstyle in 2007. I used to love One Blade sooo much :D
But this was the track that got me into it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENTruDwuYWM

WIPs / Re: sort of mura-masa/happy beat

This is sounding pretty good.
I really like the drop, but I think it lacks of a bassline of some sort, the main lead sounds great but a bit empty without a stronger bassline playing underneath.
I would also recommend that you add more reverb/delay to your vocals and lower the volume by 1-2Db.

Nigel is a really talented producer, he managed to develop an amazing sound !
His remix of Outshine is my favorite from him.

Another amazing Prydz tune !
I also can't wait to hear official (or not) remixes, these vocals have so much potential imo

R&A Graveyard / Re: Perks for dedicated users?

The only kind of rewards that I would find acceptable would be for people really helping, posting tutorials and very good sources of information.
Having certain rewards for posting a lot is a bit too much "forcing people to post", especially when big forums like this one most likely contains a very high amount of lurkers.

R&A Graveyard / Feedback for feedback
« on: January 08, 2016, 11:23:33 am »
I thought it was a good idea to establish a "feedback for feedback" process for the WIPs and Finished Tracks sections.

I have seen this method on another forum and seemed to work quite successfully. That way, everyone gets feedback on their tracks and the sections won't get filled with unactive topics with 0 replies.

Basically you give feedback to a track posted on a topic before posting yours for feedback.

The only problem is that this method is used and works in threads only (see example here : bit.ly/1SDQMFy) and so we'd have to think of a new system to implement it in whole sections...

What do you guys think ?

Check your profile options. You can subscribe to threads (replying automatically does this by default) and turn on email notifications for when those get updated.

Yes, but this will send an email everytime someone replies to the thread, which won't necessarily relate to what you've subscribed for. Whereas getting notified everytime you get quoted, will directly concern what you said, it's much more accurate in my opinion.
Didn't go through all the options to see if this was possible though

+1

I directly looked for an introductory thread the second I registered...
It's also a great way to connect with newcomers imo

R&A Graveyard / Re: Embedded videos
« on: January 08, 2016, 11:02:01 am »
I second this, youtube has too much of an impact on producers, and being able to directly play the video instead of copy/pasting the link everytime would be much easier :)

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I don't seem to find any [spoiler] buttons, which would be useful if we have an 'embedded video' option.

Samples/Plugins/Software/Gear / Re: Acapellas?
« on: January 08, 2016, 02:52:03 am »
You can also try and make your own acapellas. If you have both the vocal and instrumental version of a track, you can use the "phase inverting" method, it's long and meticulous but turned out to be pretty efficient for me :)

Here's a video on how to do it in Ableton

Finished Tracks / Re: Daft Punk - One More Time (Brandon Kollaja Bootleg)
« on: January 07, 2016, 07:37:58 pm »
I agree, try and rewrite your track in the song's original key (G for One More Time) and put the vocals in sync, you can use the original song as a reference.

I won't talk a lot about the main parts but please add more variations with this piano :)
