Mind Disorder - Fire (Drum & Bass)
« on: January 08, 2016, 04:54:08 pm »
Hey guys !

Here is a drum and bass track I've been sitting on for a couple of month waiting for the final touches. Now that I'll have time to make it 100% I'd be interested to hear your point of view on it.

(If an admin is passing though, it seems the soundcloud tag is not working with private links, while it's specified in the read first post. Did I do something wrong ?)

Big big thanks in advance and hope you'll like it !

Really enjoyed that. Not much to add. If I had to say something I guess maybe try doing something more with the vocals, although they are good, maybe try some harmonies or more effected vocals at points throughout?

Thanks a lot Rich !
Good idea about the vocals, didn't think of this. That might add some welcome diversity

Hey,

So I've seen Drum & Bass, so because i'm a fan, I though i could see.

So first of all, it hasn't enough high end. It's a big issues that appears alot while mastering fast tempo tracks. So the mix is fin, but there's not enough High and High Mid Frequencies. try adding a wet pad (supersaws) in the back ground to fill the High frequencies.

Anyway, this sounds very good. I liked the vocal. Melody could use some variation but it's fine that way. I like the drums.

Good work ;)

Really needs work on mixing ! Because once the bass drops, you could hear the sounds getting distorted.Apart from that, too much reverb? Work on the High Ends as well!
