Just started this out with a friend. is something like pop rock/progressive?
and currently need some good opinions before bringing it into a garage drop or something else
(feedback/opinion for transition would be nice) :D

p.s don't ask/say anything related to kontakt, our kontakt is pretty much broken rn  :-\

Heyo Viticz :D

I like the intro atmosphere and how you bring the progression. It sounds amazing. Kick is a bit weak in the highlight. Snare is fine.

Although, I don't really thing like it's pop rock. It's progressive/uplifting for sure but I see pop rock more with actual guitars or something sounding like it. (Like this)

It's good. I like it ;)

Keep it up !

Its almost like the section from 1:23-1:55  and the section when the bass is added(which btw could be louder and I wouldnt mind!) @ 2:12-2:44... Should just be flat out swapped. Im semi torn tho, because that drop at 1:21-1:23 stopped me in my tracks.

I can't really think of much wrong with this, maybe widen the sub bass at around 2:10? This is actually incredible, good job with it!!

So far, it sounds awesome overall! I have a couple suggestions though. During the first buildup, the piano seemed a little weak, and was quickly overpowered when you introduced the reverby stab synth sound. Not sure if that's what you were going for, but it could have a bit more presence. Also, during the first drop, the layered synths were interfering with the hi hats/crashes, and they sounded a bit lost in the mix. Doing a bit of subtractive eq'ing to the synths around the main frequencies of where the hi-hats and crashes lay should help bring them out a bit more in the mix. Also, like what has already been suggested, the kick needs some attention, and the bass in the section at 2:11 should be boosted up a bit too. An idea for the transition, since you mentioned you'd like to add in a guitar, would be to add either a crunchy, slightly distorted or a clean reverby guitar riff into the section at 2:11 and have it carry into your next drop. If you don't have an actual guitar, Ample Sound has some pretty neat sample based guitar vsts that you could check out, which are pretty expressive and have a nice sound to them. If you're familiar with Aire, he's been using their AME2 plugin and the results have sounded fairly nice.

It sounds like the lead and the supersaw are clashing.

Other than that, great track! I really love the atmosphere you created, very beautiful!

The build up still needs work don't worry about it, thanks for the feedback. I'll improve on the mix and ofcourse I know Aire, me and him are good friends :)
also I'll get the ample sound guitar soon it looks nice :D

To me the snare is kind of clashing with that main synth once everything starts getting beefy (1.25). I like the kick, i think the levels are just slightly out of balance for the mix as a whole (but pretty close).

Maybe try dropping a db or two starting with like -.75 to see how it sounds; on that main synth, with some brief dips in highs/mids to clear some room for the snare when it hits, and then gently pushing the drum buss a little bit in increments as you might notice some low mid stuff that you need to adjust in doing that. The synth you have going is actually pretty close to the one in this track below. You could try this as a reference for some better balance, i'd probably listen to it at lower volumes to equal mix levels though just because it's pushed pretty heavily:

I'll see what I can do to improve thanks! :)
