Konac - Sanctity

A song that took me a long long time to finish.  This song was heavily inspired by styles like ZEDD, Madeon, and Porter Robinson, there's also some JPOP elements as well.  My main goal for the future is to be a good producer and song writer, so all feedback is really appreciated.

Great job! Definitely got the Madeon feeling. The breakdown is beautiful.  The kick is a bit too punchy for my tastes but now I'm just nitpicking.  Really enjoying the breakdown and outro actually... this could be way off but I'm getting kinda a 2005-2010 BT vibe from those parts, in a really good way.

This is really good, but it lacks a sense of originality. You know what I mean? I definitely hear your influences, but I hear them a little TOO much. That being said the quality is great. Just constructive criticism. <3

Nice evolving track.Sexy and Very groovy.Would like the dance part too be longer(30-20sec more maybe)but i like 9-10min+tracks so maybe thats just me.
Not sure about the kick though...It feels a bit wrong.Like jory42 said it seems to be too punchy or something.

NIIICE, I've always wanted to have a go at that style of song (the drop) with the french-y feel, but every time i have tried i don't have a clue where to even start.  Hats off to you sir

Definitely agree, this is quite a tough one to improve upon but I'll try my best.

I think the kick being too punchy is a combination of over sidechaining some of the elements in the mix, and the sample itself.  You bring up a good point though, after I finished the song, I realized that the amount of sidechain on some of the instruments was a mistake aswell.

I agree that it sounds like a Madeon track, but there isn't really any harm in that imo. I wouldn't change things just for the sake changing them. You obviously have a very good understanding of sound design, mixing, and song structure. That will take you far.

Maybe try taking all the things you learned writing this one, and make a new one with a fresh idea that excites you.

Absolutely love it! How long have you been producing for if you don't mind my asking? I am very much in love with all the little complexities and melodies constantly running around in the background. I also like that the song never really loses too much energy throughout.

Really great composition. The kick is too punchy for my taste, but it all comes down to your mixing preferences.

Thanks, I'm a big fan of attention to detail!  I've almost been producing for 3 years.
