If I feel unmotivation I try producing music in another genre than I usually would.
Who gives a fuck?

It's okay to not be motivated all the time honestly. If I'm not feeling motivated to open up my DAW for a day, I don't. I do another hobby instead or I try to get some of my schoolwork done. Maybe you could make a schedule where you produce 5 days out of the week and chill for the other 2 so that you don't burn out. In case of just staring at your DAW not knowing what to do, try to make something come out. Forced tracks aren't usually good, but at least you'll have something. Practice a technique or make a remix. Do something that you normally wouldn't do. Learn and apply a new skill.

While I'm at school, I have almost no time for production, so making the most of my breaks is enough motivation for me. I'm sure you'll find your motivation somewhere.

I agree its important to recognize u wont always be motivated to crank out tracks all the time. Sometimes U will, much of the time you wont. Whats important is not just wasting the time in which you are not motivated by listening to 8 bar loops. If youre not motivated, work on sound design. Make a few presets for yourself to use. You dont have to be motivated to be improving. Maybe try something new or even get to know your DAW or VSTS better, that way when you do hit that spurt of motivation, you have all the tools to get everything done efficiently and well.
Cheers

you need to believe in what you do, producing is linked with confidence, motivation must be kept high always, watch dj interviews on youtube, listen to their radio shows, dont get distracted by people, social media, etc, get a subscription to electronic music magazines, read, learn from the best only, stream sky sports so you can watch something while producing, go out and take a break, exercise, play playstation, etc lol some days are better than others

As mentioned above, ask yourself why you are making music in the first place. I think this is one of the most important things when it comes to motivation. If you're making it for money then it may not be sustainable, if your making it because it's your passion then you have no excuses!
