Basically years and years of electronic music of all genres in my ears. So I started playing around, just interested to know how it was done. And later when I got into some emotional situations for example I felt some need to express some feelings and even while making shitty sounds or tracks I found myself at home with music.
And as of today, even while being unknown it just makes me happy to do some sounds

I remember watching a WoW kill video of a boss in 2009 when this track turned up. Shortly after that i got into a bunch of trance and somehow ended up on Pendulum/Rob Swire, since then he's still been my inspiration to this day.

I discovered trackers on the Amiga in like 1990 and that was it, mod.axel_f got me into wanting to make my own stuff.

Honestly, I had the FL Demo downloaded on my computer but had never really messed with it.  My internet was out one day and I was bored so I decided to open it, and then made probably one of the worst songs ever created.  BUT it did spark a little light in me that was like "hey, this stuff is kind of cool" and here I am 2 years later.

this is definitely different. mostly people start because they heard a song or sumtin. you're damn weird sir  :o
btw your dnb's great~

in 2013 I heard Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites for the first time (I know late af). I was like "holy shit" and started messing around with some dumb apps on my laptop until I got "magix music maker", which is like a really limited daw, and then eventually I got ableton. now here I am almost 3 years later!

Back in 2007 i've discovered electronic music by listening to Alive 1997 by Daft Punk, was absolutely blown away by the live and by their song Rollin' & Scratchin (which is 100x better than the album version) and this made me want to produce music, then I discovered dubstep by a friend who sent me SM&NS in 2012, now i'm here :)

some guy who did youtube tutorials on video game design made a "trance" song in FL STUDIO and uploaded it. I heard it and the fact that this guy made a song on his computer at home was fucking mind blowing and I became obsessed. it sparked my interest rather than inspire me really

Actually, I wasn't into music even listening to music itself. I was just another person who just listen to music from radio without really bother knowing what music really is. But back in 2010, I found this guy you might know which plays under the name Owl City. That's the first time I am really mesmerized by a music and it seems electronic becomes my favorite genre until now. Because I become a huge fan of his music across the year, I keep exploring this kind of music and discovering how it's made. One day, I jokingly think of myself "hmm maybe I can make music myself" and now here I am.  ::)

btw, it was Umbrella Beach by Owl City; the song that brought me here

I really fell in love with EDM around three years ago, maybe early 2013.

November 2014 or so I decided I wanted to start DJing so I bought a DDJ-SR. I fucked around with it for a while, started to learn how to mix, made a few hour long mixes and all that.

Come February/March 2015 and I was like, wait. I'm playing someone else's music. I want to play my own music. DJing will get me nowhere, to achieve success I have to create something of my own.

And so the journey began. An endless learning adventure and whole new world opened up. I didn't take it seriously until probably July, and now I want to do absolutely nothing but devote my time to creating music (despite attending University to complete my Economics degree).

Started when I heard Daft Punk when i was young. Then I got more into dance music. first show I went to was David Guetta at the height of Pop Life and it was actually really really good. Then I slowly went deeper and deeper until I found artists that really resonate with me. When I started looking into production it was because of Porter, Maya Jane Coles, Shadow Child.

So like a lot of people you start with the super mainstream and then slowly find the music that really works for you.
