Odesza Style Song | Need an idea for the drop

Here is a track I have been working on for a while now, but there is one thing that is keeping me from finishing the song:

I cannot figure out what to do for the drop.

I have tried countless things, and I just cannot work out what to do.  If you guys have any suggestions I would be more than willing to try them, and post what I accomplish for each suggestion as long as it makes sense in the song (no big room house or trap though).

Cool track! I really like the chords and female vocals. I can tell you spent a lot of time on it.

The one thing I'm curious about: What else would you like it to be? It sounds cool the way it is.

Thanks!

The only thing I was thinking is that the buildup wasn't proportional to the drop.  But if it's fine then I guess I can just leave it how it is and work on the finer details now.

Try on the second half of the chorus making the hi-hats triplets and getting a higher harmony on the vocal. You could also add a high lead and a wide pad if you wanted? :D

I'd definitely say focus on the accents. Put some fills in that drum loop! Some extra hats or a variant on the kick/snare pattern on the 4th bar, a bigger fill on the 8th bar. maybe some additional percussive elements that you could use as guide markers for little flairs and modulations you could do to spice up the basic groove you have going. from there, i think you could find a variation to build on for the second drop and really polish it up

This is so dope.

I would love to hear something like a porta-synth; a really clean porta synth with a melody that you can just grab on to. Also with a decent amount of reverb.

It's amazing the way it is though. Really well mixed, arranged, and composed. Keep it up dude, this is good stuff.

Nice job! Really like the vibe of the track. One thing I noticed was that the sidechaining was a bit excessive in the drop. Not sure if thats what you were going for, but i'd tweak it a bit. Also, to add a bit more character to the drop, i'd recommend the same as Mussar, and add some more variation in the percussion/drums during the drop to make it a bit more interesting.
