Advice on Buying a Used Interface

I was looking to buy a new interface under $200 and i found a couple used models for good prices from guitar center.

Also i found a Scarlett 2i2 for $70 on craigslist. The guy says it works perfectly and is in good condition but doesnt have anything i can test it on before i buy it.

Has anyone had any experience with buying these things used or should i just cash out on a new one?

I have the Presonus AudioBox USB. It's really neat. It cost like 80 USD.

i'll buy soon a microphone who come along with the Focusrite Saffire 6 USB. which is 126 USD.

But both are really cool.
