Weird/Unorthodox Theory and Arrangement Thread
« on: January 07, 2016, 08:19:22 pm »
Got any weird, strange, and/or unorthodox tips for writing a song, coming up with a progression, or arranging a track? Maybe it spurs your creativity (and maybe it could also spur someone else). Share them! Hopefully this thread can help people find new ways to push themselves and approach their tracks!

What do you mean by weird tips? Maybe instead you'd like to know if any of the cliches about musical creativity are wrong?

Or do you mean tips for writing weird music? I definitely encourage you to try and write music that is as weird as possible but still catchy/pleasing to listen to.
