The build, the energy, the synths, it's all pretty great.
But once it hits the chorus is just got so... Busy? The sounds are overlapping on the same frequencies and the mix sounds pretty messy. Besides that the melody and structure of the track isn't very different from the original. but that's just me.

Overall I think you did a fine job, and it sounds awesome. Good luck on the contest.
