New trap/electronic song, would love some feedback
« on: May 21, 2017, 09:08:13 pm »
I've been working on an ep, and I was going to use this as part of the intro. There's going to be a whole section of abstract sound design-y stuff before this, though I haven't started on that yet.

Let me know what you think!
Thanks :)

Good drums and nice structure of the song. The pulse wave lead you have is somewhat basic imo. Maybe add some modulation to some parameters, maybe some distortion might add a little more depth to it.

I think that atmospheric stab over the bassline needs work. I believe I can hear some phase issue on it, probably caused by a stereo widening or unlucky use of phaser/flanger. Also I think reverb would suit that sound a lot ... to make it a bit spacious so the bassline can feel bigger by being kinda "solitary" in the middle.
"Earth is round right? Look at it from right angle and you'll be always on top of the world."
...but don't overdo it, because that's called being a d***k.

It might need work with mixing/processing but other than that this is awesome, atmospheric, makes me think of a more aggressive mura masa
