Psy-Trance Basslines And Kicks
« on: January 07, 2016, 08:39:53 am »
Would anyone on here have any good tips or ways to get a Full Bassline & Kick similar to this?

Every time I try it always sounds so empty, dull, or hollow.

Try to to use 2 or 3 different layers. I find using a higher moog and a lower trance bass combined (trance bass lower in volume so the Moog really gets the attention) give me a fuller sound. And try sending the layers parallel to different channels and give it a lot of distortion and put those parallel channels very low in volume as well to just give it some extra fatness. And compress it all together after. Also some small delay might help. (Try to keep the main moog really clean though so your lowend won't get fucked)

I will give this a try as well, thank you.
