Oddly specific request for you there.. I want to be able to apply pitch envelopes based on tempo to samples maybe 20-40 seconds long.

I'm actually not looking for something that changes pitch independent of tempo. I want to simulate the effect of a turntable pitch slider, but I need something that's pretty precise.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Yeah I remember the pitch envelope from my FL days.. that's actually the closest thing I know of, but it's not nearly precise enough.

Basically I sequence DJ mixes in Logic Pro because I don't have the hardware for live DJing and I like the results better anyway. Most aspects of DJing you can simulate easily enough but I'm stumped as to what I can use to do gradual, controlled pitch ramps.

That pitch envelope thing isn't what I was after but it's good to know, thanks.

I figured out you can do what I'm trying to do using Flex Time set to Speed mode. As long as you have enough flex markers set so that it's subtle, all you need to do is set a ramp on the master tempo track and Logic does the rest for you..
