Name of this wood snare/perc / high pitch snare

Ive been hearing this sound a Lot lately
Can anyone tell me the name of this:

Seconds 0:36- 0:38 / 0:57-1:10

Sounds like a high pitched tom.

You can easily recreate it yourself by putting some reverb on a pitchbend sinewave.

Sounds like a flam'd woodblock hit, with a little reverse sweep-in to me. It's becoming more and more common as a "future bass" snare layer, if you search on Splice you probably could find a ton of copycats,

Sounds to me like what's sometimes called the "Jack U Snare". This should give a bit more info for recreating it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V11uuTrOJS0  :)
