Saving up my Xmas money for some new good studio cans, and came across a useful infographic which I thought might help other people out (click on the preview image to make it bigger, here's the full version but took a few seconds to load for me).

I produce in a quiet environment, was pretty torn whether to get open-back (which I've never tried before) or closed-back. More and more leaning on the open-back route. Does anyone have experience with DT880, DT990 and Sennheiser HD 600? Which would you get?
