idk if mat made it like this, but:

monophonic pulse with low pulse width, lfo on the pitch automated for the tails, steady non moving phaser -> distortion

with the obvi filter movement, reverbs etc

I'll admit I thought he just wasn't aware.. guess I'm gullible as fuck. I managed to get it pretty close with the massive patch pic and some tweaking though!
