Redoing one of my older uplifting WIP's. Would love feedback :-)

I did this one last year over the summer. decided to revisit and try to update with what ive learned since. Started from Scratch but kept the original idea. I would love to get it finished. I haven't done FX and Fillers yet. Also kinda quickly "mastered" with Ozone Presets just to get an idea of what it would sound like later.

Dat Trance tho. I think you have a lot of great ideas in this track, and I can tell you have a really good sense of direction and progression. The mixdown is pretty clean, though your kick sounds just a touch muddy - You could probably cut out some of the 150-250 Hz range and open up that low end a bit more.

Your arrangement could use some work - you have the macro scale pretty solid, and you know that you should have fills and flourishes, but sometimes the progression of your track feels a bit disjointed - like when you started lowpassing your kick in preparation for the breakdown. When the last kick happens at the start of the break, it's just this muddy thump. If you put an impact noise (like drenching a kick in reverb and rendering it out) underneath it, for example, you might feel as though there's a much stronger resolution of your intro and a much stronger introduction of your breakdown. It might also benefit from having instruments other than the kick acting as the fill or the buildup - noise sweeps, tom fills, riser synths, all that good stuff can allow your kick to remain relatively constant and give you that same feeling of tension and release.

If you haven't picked a reference already, some Gareth Emery, Armin Van Buuren, or Monoverse could be helpful to compare with your own work and see where you might go with it.

Thank for the feedback! I've been listening to a lot of Andy Elliass and Tranzlift lately so that's what i've been referencing it to.

Yeah i haven't began to tackle transitions yet. kinda just laid out the arrangement and that's about it.I kinda want to get all the automation and main instruments taken care of before i began working on transitions and fillers.

i updated the link with a newer version :-)

The kick and bass is quite nice and I like the intro. I miss some more pads though to give it a bit more atmosphere.
The part at 1:10 with the birds is too long and I think it would give a weird pause if played in a club.
Plucks are awesome - you should really add a delay to it. Perhaps also some reverb that you sidechain with the plucks own sound.
The automation of the plucks seems too linear - try assigning the cutoff to a knob and turn it so give the track the best possible flow.
Up to 2:55 you should have plenty of effects - risers and snare etc. I guess you aren't done with that part.

Nice production quality. I feel you should try a different clap sample - or perhaps layer it with a different one.

What happened to the nice stab melody?

I added back on but i think i wanna use it as background melody. I'm having a hard time finding a lead that fits.
