How to make that lead!
« on: August 23, 2016, 07:55:06 pm »
Hey guys

Can anyone show me how to achive such magical lead like in this track below:
https://youtu.be/mJEC06nx7fs?t=2m47s  (2:47).

Ps1. I use sylenth and cubase stuff :)
Ps2. Yes , i've already been looking into nexus/sylenth presets , i've also tryied to create this sound by myself , but as you can see i'm bad sound designer :(
If you want to collaborate , just send me a PM :P

Sounds like it has a vocal quality to me. Maybe record yourself saying "doo" and try and resample that? Or see what kind of qualities and harmonics saying that has and try to recreate it using a synth.

Also it has a kind of click transient..Might achieve that by having an envelope have the pitch drop really quick by an octave or so. Lots of reverb and delay.

that sounds quite like nexus preset called Uk Pikes 2 lol, i might be wrong but i think it starts with that and underneath you have that "original" saw layers which are later opening and blasting through the drop. this has nothing to do with vocals  or any vocal resampling etc lol, sounds like a pretty standard combination of sylenth & nexus...trust me if you get the exact notes which are playing in the drop you gonna much closer finding that sound than just scrolling through presets =) just my 5 cents
