Started this one yesterday. Finally feel like I'm actually making music these days. If anyone is struggling here on the forum feel free to reach out to me for encouragement. Not to say that my music is amazing in any sense, but I definitely know it can be tough and there is so much to say for pushing through the struggle and continuing to make music. Put the hours in and you will see yourself get better <3 <3 Much love guys :) lemme know what you think.

really great soundscape but the mix doesnt do it as much justice as it could, the hats are sitting below/behind everything when it would sound much more open and proper if they were sitting on top, generally you should give your hats the upper register of your mix.

when the wavy delay'ed synth at 1:00 comes in its frequencies are too different from the previous section, partly because your sub isnt cut out of the synth. at 1:20 this becomes an issue because the sub in your wavy synth clashes with your actual sub bass.

the composition is really dreamy and overall is put together very well. I suggest moving forward by working on mixing techniques and practice by referencing tracks that are similar to the genre/style you are making :)

Thanks homie!! I worked on using more multiband dynamics to clean up the synths to allow for everything to hit in its own space. Hope it sounds better!

The hi hats project through just fine.

Given the context of the song, i think this sounds pretty good.

there's a certain sheen to it. You might want to remove a little bit of top end from the snare though and get a better blend of your hi hats and snare when they hit at the same time.
Josh Huval: Honestly, the guys who are making good art are spending their time making it.
