Hey, i really like the atmosphere that this track has with that string instrument and the pads that are in the background but i find it kind of boring and repetitive.
Maybe a change up in the melody or the sound of the synth could make it better imo

Thanks. I have trouble adding other melodies that fit the current ones in a song, still not happy with how the 808s sit here.

I think this track could benefit from some layering of the chords that you already have.  Perhaps that would make it sound more full.  As an exercise to try and make it more interesting, try and change something or add something every every 4 bars.  If you listen to popular producers like Dillon Francis, Skrillex and Deadmau5 they keep the song progressing by doing this.  Even if its small like adding a clap or adding an extra layer, it keeps the song progressing.
