Hey d00dz,

me name is jack and i just joined the forum, ive been producing for a year and a half and really want to start making improvements in my sound

below is a track that i just finished mixing and i cant help but notice theres a substantial difference in quality between my track and professional trance tracks

any feedback/suggestions would be greatly appreciated ( i personally suspect my mid-high and high ends may be the culprit)

I think people unnecessarily stress out too much about mixing/mastering, composition is much more important--focus more on that. At the end of the day, if it sounds good, it's good, you know? Use your ears and trust your own good taste. Overall, it's a good track--especially like the melodic section that starts at 2:10. Keep on it
